Our client is a leading financial services organisation with a global presence. Their business has been going from strength to strength over the last few years and due to new clients coming on board they are looking for 2 additional Unit Trust Administrators to support the team.

Purpose of the role:

To deliver on the day to day administration of unlisted unit trusts/funds
The role is task driven for processing, validation, batching and reporting

Responsibilities;  
  • Read and understand the processing checklists and business rules per fund and/or issuer
  • Respond to Investor and Adviser queries in a timely and accurate manner per agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Daily validation and batching of applications, transfers, static transfers and redemptions
  • Validation for Anti-Money Laundering and Politically Exposed Persons for compliance purposes
  • Daily processing of applications via mfund or Calastone systems
  • Daily downloads of BPAY payments to relevant funds as required
  • Daily reconciliation of funds received and banked
  • Upload, entry and authorisation of unit pricing
  • Create and process payments for redemptions or commissions
  • Maintain multiple client email inboxes and ensuring that task escalations are done on a timely manner
  • Manage any rejections and follow-up where necessary using email or other correspondence tools
  • Provide support/back up to other team members as required
You will ideally have have 2 years + experience in a similar administration/operations role within financial services, with a naturally helpful client service manner and an understanding on the importance of attention to detail.
