An opportunity has arisen at one of the most trusted names in funds management here in Australia to appoint a Client Services Analyst. This is a rare opportunity to join a sophisticated fund who have been managing investment portfolios for institutional investors for over three decades. Although it is a growing organization their boutique heritage remains an integral part of their culture.
In this role, the Analyst will work alongside senior stakeholders within the institutional and strategic relationship channel and provide client service, research, analysis and support at all levels and stages. You will take full ownership for client presentations, client reporting, research, competitor analysis. You will also prepare fund information that is provided to asset consultants and research houses, assist with coordinating meetings and updating their CRM.
The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in investments and fund management. They will have the ability to proactively solve problems, a strong work ethic, capability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment and an ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. This background is likely to have been gained through 1-3 years of experience in a fund manager, or investment firm i.e. a research house.
The role requires a unique combination of attention to detail, proactive problem solving and an ability to see the broader picture. A proven background in Funds Management and a history of working with institutional clients will be looked on favourably.
