An opportunity to join our Shadforth team in the full time position of Corporate Consultant. The position of Corporate Consultant is to develop and manage scalable and sustainable key corporate accounts with a focus on retention, growth, generating consulting and advice referrals, revenue and downstream sales opportunities.

Specific duties will include:

  • Develop, implement and manage new and existing relationships with corporate clients and referral partners to generate consulting and advice referrals, revenue and downstream sales.
  • Promote the Shadforth business: identify and develop relevant opportunities with new and existing corporate clients and referral partners.
  • Initiate and manage local and national projects at a corporate level.  Responsible for all operational aspects.
  • Develop and maintain a network of senior level corporate contacts, influencers and experts.
  • Initiate and manage business development activities by coordinating and/hosting bi annual events with senior level corporate contacts with our top tier corporate clients.
  • Develop and maintain relevant industry knowledge and topical issues, to contribute to the corporate consulting "opinion".

In order to be considered you must demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications – undergraduate degree in a finance or business related stream. 
  • Proven track record as an effective Corporate Consultant or Relationship Manager
  • RG 146 Compliant – and continued education to maintain this standard
  • A minimum level of financial services knowledge especially in superannuation and insurance related areas
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working with employer groups
  • Ability to explain complex situations in clear and concise language
  • Knowledge of the mysuper legislation
  • A proven record of new business outcomes
  • Excellent time management

Well-developed communication skills and intermediate Microsoft Office skills are mandatory, as is the ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines.
