A financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to join their agile and fun environment. You will be responsible for delivering risk analytics and reporting to senior management and stake holders.
You will have the opportunity to work across all aspect of consumer credit, this company delivers truly innovative analytics solutions and analytics projects which you will be an integral part of.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify trends and provide meaningful insights from complex data analysis in order to improve policies
- Call upon your extensive analytics skills develop new data features for the purpose of enhancing credit risk models and strategies
- Use complex data analysis to understand portfolio performance and credit quality
- Communicate results of complex data, analysis and findings into meaningful and actionable insights for senior management and key stakeholders
Looking for Key Skills such as
- Tertiary qualification in a technical discipline such as Applied Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics or Business etc.
- Demonstrable experience in an analytics role in credit risk or consumer credit within the banking or financial services industries or similar
- Strong data manipulation skills
- Proven experience working on complex datasets
- Demonstrable experience delivering analytics within a risk environment
- A passion for presenting value driven insights
- Ability to communicate with key decision makers and stakeholders internally and externally
- Experience using tools such as Excel and SQL, SAS, R would be an advantage
- Experience using PowerBI or Tableau visualisation tools
- Proven experience building relationships and presenting to stakeholders
