Leading bank is seeking an Operational risk professional with excellent stakeholder management skills to join their growing Line 1 risk team.
This role will be charged with the maintenance and implementation of the operational risk framework with a focus across Institutional Banking. You will be accountable for the management of Payments Product Risk processes end to end through the strengthening of controls, production of Product Risk training material and assistance in its delivery to sales and support areas.
Your responsibilities will include assisting in designing end to end payments platform risk and industry appetite statement, and associated policies, procedures and collateral to ensure appropriate risk mitigation. You will be supporting the management of third party relationships to ensure compliance to policies and regulations. You will also be accountable for developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal support areas and serve as an escalation point for any Product Risk issues.
To be considered for this position, you will possess 5+ years in a similar position (preferably in a payments business with direct operational risk experience), and have a background in financial services/banking. You will strong conceptual, analytical, research and problem solving skills.
