Joe Vella Insurance Brokers (JVIB) has three offices across Cairns and the Tablelands. Our aim is to ensure that all our clients enjoy the choice of a wide range of insurance and financial solutions to enable them to better run their businesses and family assets. This goal is enshrined in the company motto "Business Without Boundaries".
JVIB specialises in many commercial industries including strata, maritime, caravan parks, hotels, heavy motor and general commercial business. We also cater for a variety of domestic insurances such as home and contents, private motor, travel, household transit, boat and caravan.
An opportunity exists for you to join the JVIB team in our Mareeba office as a Broker Assistant. It is a full time position and the successful candidate will posses a friendly professional attitude, excellent customer service and telephone skills, an ability to work in a small office environment, good time management and an ability to quickly learn industry specific business software.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Branch Manager/Broker.
Administrative duties.
Maintenance of documentation.
Liaising with customers, internal staff and external suppliers.
Qualifications:
Tier 1 / Tier 2 qualifications.
Accuracy with data processing / inputting.
Microsoft Office Skills.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
