Manager/ Lead Analyst – Business Intelligence, Pricing and Strategy 

Take on a new and exciting role that will see you running the business intelligence, pricing and strategy function for a rapidly growing business channel.

As the owner of this function for our Direct Sales business, you will be responsible for developing routine and ad-hoc financial models and reporting that support critical and strategic business decisions. As part of the management team for Direct Sales, your role will aim to inform and create insights to support sales strategy and activity across new deals, partners and business opportunities. Your role will also support the operations of the business unit, where you will be responsible for analysis on pricing, costs and sales performance.

Using your exceptional ability to think from a commercial perspective, you will provide analytical support to our sales portfolio leaders on both team and individual sales performance. Proactively engaging with key stakeholders to gather requirements and present critical business insights, and ensuring model inputs and outputs match business/customer needs. As a Manager/Lead Analyst, you will take ownership of, develop and execute on a strategy to ensure that the Direct Sales business has optimum visibility on all sales activities through its various direct and partner channels.

With your track record of achievements in a data-led environment and solutions mindset you will develop both ad-hoc and routine reporting on sales and portfolio performance to be supplied to sales management and executives, building, maintaining and enhancing financial models (new products, pricing, sales reporting, scenario analysis, deal support) independently as well as by engaging various subject matter experts and stakeholders throughout the wider business.

This opportunity will enable you to provide analytical support to our sales operations and continuous improvement function, working with internal and outsourced functions to ensure that regular reporting is maintained and run effectively. Within the management team you will take ownership and become accountable for our financial and sales analytics, reporting and insights capability. To be considered for this role, you are comfortable engaging and working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority. You can, and have experience in, solving problems end-to-end by using the right tools and asking the right questions, and have an innovative and curious mind, with a passion for using tools and concepts to draw insights from data that drives your decision making. Your communication, planning and commercial acumen is developed and you have the passion and the enthusiasm to help drive the team to succeed by independently providing insights.   

Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in an analytical discipline (e.g. statistics, finance, computer science) as well as sound proficiency with VBA, R Studio etc. is advantageous.
