This Relationship Banking Consultant role is based in our Upper Mt Gravatt Branch, however is a relief role and as such may be called upon to travel across the Branch network as required. You must have a maintained vehicle and a Queensland Driver’s License to be considered.

This role is responsible for providing an end to end banking experience for all members. This includes achievement of all sales targets (secured and unsecured lending), prospecting for new business, insurance and general banking requests whilst owning the member relationship and experience. 

• Responds to customer enquiries within service level agreements and quality standards set by the Bank business line
• Perform day to day teller duties
• Conduct loan interviews and process applications for both unsecured and secured lending
• Perform a range of sales functions including cross selling of products, quoting of insurance products and recommending solutions to members
• Perform outbound sales and service calls
• Perform sales and transactions on third party products including telegraphic transfers, cash passports, foreign currency and motor vehicle consultations
• Supports the Branch Manager in business development activities
• Ensures Branch Manager responsibilities are met in a relief capacity when required

To be successful in this role you need to be sales focused, proactive and a good communicator with the ability to build rapport and hold quality conversations to ensure our customers experience the best banking experience. Banking history will be highly regarded, but is not a necessity, as our Relationship Banking Consultants will undergo comprehensive training to ensure they are equipped to be successful in their role.

• Current QLD Drivers License and maintained vehicle essential
• Experience in Banking and/or sales or retail environment is highly regarded, but not essential as training will be provided
• Demonstrate a strong ability to solve problems, perform numerical calculations and interpret data in different situations
• Demonstrate a strong ability to compare information quickly and accurately to ensure quality of work
• General computer and system application skills
