About The Broker Service Officer / Administration Co-ordinator Role

Bank of Sydney through its mortgage broker channel is now seeking the professional experience of a Broker Service Officer / Administration Co-ordinator.

In this role, you will ensure that loan applications settle in a timely and efficient manner by servicing brokers and clients throughout the approval and settlement process in accordance with the Banks' standards.

The role, responsibilities will include:

  • Prior to loan settlements attaining correct, missing or inaccurate supporting documents as required in credit approvals
  • Sign off 's and ensuring accuracy and fulfilment of requirements in settlement certificates
  • Ensuring that proposed settlement are tracked and effected with the Banks solicitors and Credit Admin area
  • Providing assistance and support to the brokers, including training on BOS lending policies and procedures
  • Managing and actioning broker and scenario enquiries
  • Printing and remitting Loan documents

The following administration duties or mix of duties as part of this role includes:

  • Loan Allocation's
  • Department Reports
  • Accreditation Management
  • Systems and Platform Maintenance
  • BoSbroker website management
  • Shared inbox management
  • Preparation of BoS bulletin and information collateral

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in banking / finance / economics
  • 3-5 years previous experience in financial services related industry with proven track record in loan processing, and achievement of KPIs
  • Prior expertise in establishing effective working relationships with brokers, credit departments and clients
  • Knowledge of mortgage products, processes, assessment strategies and systems within the home loan industry
  • Familiar with application of lender and mortgage insurer policies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking
