Opex Consulting is a highly regarded and leading edge Financial Services Technology Company providing brokerage, consulting and XPLAN services.
We have been in operation for 8 years, have 18 people working with us and are looking to expand the brokerage processing team to meet the demand in our service offering.
About the role
Working as a Brokerage Processing Officer you will ideally be proficient in the use of Commpay/Xplan software to provide brokerage processing services to existing Opex clients.
Dealing directly with internal and external stakeholders, you will be processing brokerage files into Commpay and reconciling against the bank statements.
You also will provide clients with regular adviser reporting and help (when required) with their brokerage related questions as part of our national Helpdesk service.
The successful applicant will be working in a fast paced environment with a flat structure, having the opportunity to interact with and learn from all teams within Opex Consulting.

Working in new modern offices, located in Adelaide you will be working full time, Monday to Friday - between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm.
This role is offering a salary package between $60-75K, pending previous experience.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience with brokerage processing in the financial services industry and have a strong background in Microsoft Excel.
You will have an understanding of the compliance requirements relating to FDS statements and have enough processing experience to be able to recognise which transactions are reportable and which are not.
The successful applicant will be comfortable working with large data files and also work to tight deadlines.
You will be a team player who is process driven, loves 'attention to detail' and possess clear and concise written and verbal skills.
