Your new role
As an Analyst you will support the Corporate & Institutional Banking team.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Account Management - Manage a portfolio of diverse corporate clients to ensure credit quality is maintained and to achieve the Bank’s risk / return targets
  • Portfolio Management - Support the national CIB Portfolio team in the leadership of portfolio analysis, including a focus on sector risk / return and strategic review processes
  • Credit Proposals - Support the origination of new credit for Australian based institutional and corporate clients through preparation of credit proposals which incorporate in-depth deal structure and borrower’s management, financial (historical, projected and modelled) and industry analysis


What you'll need to succeed

  • Accounting / Commerce / Law Degree
  • 2 years’ experience in a major domestic bank, chartered accounting firm, investment bank, investment management or from a treasury team in general corporates
  • Solid mathematical knowledge, Excel spreadsheet skills, research & analytical skills and broad Australian industry, business and economic understanding
  • Good written presentation skills, analysis and the ability to put forward, in writing and verbally, a persuasive and compelling business case
  • Display strong interpersonal and presentations skills, be a team player, self-started and have the ability to work independently
