Balmain Corporation is a boutique fund manager who provides the largest and most experienced source of commercial mortgage finance outside the major Australian banks.

We are currently looking for an Accounting / Finance graduate with 4-6+ years’ experience in investments, portfolio analysis or corporate trust.
 
This role will autonomously manage daily cash flow activities both in and out for new portfolios of corporate clients who have refinanced their corporate debt.

Whilst you are managing your own portfolio you will have the opportunity to also work closely with senior staff members as well as directly with executive directors to develop you experience and knowledge.   

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Cash & treasury support
• Client funding
• Compliance monitoring
• Financial accounting support
• Account reconciliations
• Liaising with outsourced service providers and follow up of issues
• Monitor asset verification activities
• Maintain strong client relationships 

The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role, be energetic and passionate, possess the ability to build strong internal / external relationships, as well as excellent time management and organisational skills.
