Are you looking for a role where you can demonstrate your excellent leadership skills? This is it!
This well known financial institution requires a leader to manage a small team with the focus of superior client service being paramount. As the Team Leader of approximately 9 staff you will support them to process client financial requests in a timely and accurate manner.
What your role looks like:
Your role will be varied and challenging with your duties including:
- Assisting your team to interpret and apply legislation, regulations and other guideline material to the operations, policies or functions of the financial institution
- Ensuring a high work standard is maintained for activity within the team
- Mentoring team members for them to reach their personal goals and contribute positively to team, branch and strategic outcomes
- Providing advice and support to team members on administrative, technical and operational matters
- Contributing to process improvements and identifying opportunities for change and improvement
- Maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder relationships through provision of excellent service, information delivery and decision making processes
- Contributing and upholding the business values and policies
- Conducting all business activity with personal drive, integrity and initiative
What you will bring to the role:
As an effective Team Leader you will bring the following skills and experience:
- Experience in effectively leading a team including performance management and mentoring
- A level of professionalism that aligns with strong values of the business
- An ability to interpret legislation and communicate this effectively to others
- High level written and oral communication skills
- A proven ability to achieve results in a busy and fast paced team
- Strong problem solving skills and an ability to identify, develop and implement improvement initiatives
- An open and collaborative approach to ensure productive relationships
- An analytical mind and strong research skills to solve complex problems
- A background in finance is desirable but not essential
