Bring your experience and work within our Global Financial Crime Compliance team based in our Sydney CBD Head Office. 

Joining the Global Financial Crime Compliance team, means you manage a number of global frameworks designed to support the regional Financial Crime Compliance and Market Operations team who manage Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Bribery and Corruption and Sanctions risk for Macquarie.

Reporting directly to the Associate Director - Global Financial Crime Compliance Policy & Solutions, you will be responsible for the definition and maintenance of an appropriate governance framework and specific AML initiatives - such that they are clearly defined and aligned to our risk appetite. You will also engage with business, Market Operations Division Client Lifecycle Management and Regional Financial Crime Compliance teams to manage the successful delivery of policy or change management initiatives.

You will also have the opportunity to cover the operational aspects as they relate to – ongoing customer due diligence, incidents, remediation actions, MOD remediation projects, user access, risk relevant reference data, as well as on-going training to FCC for key AML systems. Whilst also providing monitoring and proactive oversight through the development of management dashboards and reports, responding to Internal Audit requests, and escalation of relevant insights to the FCC leadership team.

You will bring with you, a solid understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management and project delivery and preferably have experience working as a Business Analyst on AML/FCC programs within the financial services sector. You will be able to display strong communication skills, both verbal and written, whilst demonstrating the ability to build strong effective networks with associated stakeholders and able to influence when required.
