You will be working within the Business Operational Risk Management team to support and advise our Business Services Division, ensuring that Operational Risk is appropriately managed in line with our Operational Risk Management Framework and associated policies.

You will be responsible for working in a collaborative partnership with the BSD teams to monitor, improve and assess the control environment.  You will drive initiatives that develop a strong, proactive risk culture and clear understanding of the risk framework.

Reporting directly to the Global Head of Operational Risk, Business Services Division, you’ll use your knowledge and experience of banking operations to offer sound risk advice to the Business Services Division. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing the traditional Operational Risk framework elements such as risk and control self-assessments, incident management, issue identification and management, and audit liaison.   You will also have the opportunity to lead and conduct Operational Risk workshops and training whilst building and nurturing meaningful stakeholder relationships.

You will be a motivated Risk professional with exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes and think laterally, whilst being able to grasp abstract concepts and complex situations. You will be able to demonstrate experience within an Operational Risk Management role, ideally gained within a dynamic international financial institution or professional services firm. Prior experience in Sourcing & Vendor Management, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Payments Processing is ideal but not mandatory. You’ll be supported by an experienced and collaborative team to achieve success and grow as a Risk Professional.
