Bringing a strong interest in Equity Markets, you will be hoping to become an integral member of our Financials team.
You’ll support senior analysts in analysing individual companies and the broader sector, as well as producing insightful reports and recommendations. Being responsible for building financial models and managing our database, assisting with the writing of sector publications and company reports and preparing client marketing presentations will see you actively participating in the successful drivers of this reporting team. You’ll have the opportunity to attend corporate and investment presentations, as well as senior company management and client meetings.
We’d like you to be able to demonstrate a stable, yet progressive, work history bringing approximately 2 – 5 years direct experience in financial services; ideally gained from working in a strategy, pricing or commercial business team. If you are applying from within a Regulator environment or consulting team where you have worked closely on the sector, or directly in industry as an equity analyst, we would also encouraged you to apply.
Holding tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting or an Economics discipline (CA or CFA is preferred) and bringing a high level of financial analysis and modelling skills will be essential as will a confident and outgoing work approach to enable you to build relationships with key stakeholders and clients. You’ll need to be hardworking, driven and highly-motivated and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to write clearly and succinctly.
