Joining our Futures Clearing Operations team who focus on Trade Management, Expiry Management, managing Client allocations as well as performing global Exchange and Broker reconciliations, you’ll work within a supportive team environment and be mentored by a great team of professionals. 

 

Your work will include monitoring all trades booked to a mixture of accounts and ensuring any issues are escalated to your manager; reconciling Exchange & Broker reconciliations which include cash, positions, Initial Margins and trades; conducting post trade allocations, monitoring of position limits and position transfers as well as trade amendments. Submitting regulatory reports and to ensuring procedures are up-to-date and reviewed on a periodic basis as well as managing risk issues within the responsibilities of your role will also be required – making sure controls are strictly enforced in a timely way will be essential. Participating in projects – User Acceptance Testing; considering how our work can be done more efficiently, thereby saving time, costs and service levels will add some diversity; and lastly, you’ll need to understand the importance of providing a high level of support and service to internal clients;

 

This position will have varying start and finish times; sometimes you will need to rotate hours with your colleagues.  Working on Public Holidays will also be required to capture global market activities.

 

To be considered, you will ideally be degree qualified and have gained some work experience in a financial markets team. You will have Listed Derivatives (Exchange Traded) and or OTC Clearing experience within a back or middle office or operational environment. Reconciliations experience will be highly-regarded. We’re expecting you to be detailed, methodical and able to work in a planned and organised way. The flexibility to learn and adapt as well as to build good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders are other attributes we seek.  It’s a busy and dynamic business and so your work will need to be completed in a timely way.
