An opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Officer, covering the QLD & NSW State region to join a high performing team. Reporting to the General Manager and Senior Business Development Manager, this role will entail maintaining and fostering existing relationships with advisers and clients. With market leading product, you will identify new business development opportunities, provide marketing and product collateral and run and assist adviser meetings where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining and fostering existing relationships with advisers and clients across QLD and NSW.
• Provide product and marketing support for Advisers and clients
• Maintain an outbound call program to existing Advisers and clients
• Liaise with Dealer Groups to aid in the transition of new clients
• Seek opportunities to add to the company’s client base by establishing business relationships with new clients
• Involvement in weekly sales and strategy meetings
• Regular maintenance of the marketing and CRM database
• Assist with the production of marketing collateral and Product Disclosure Statements
• Creating and planning key adviser events across Australia
Key Requirements
• Degree in a business/finance related discipline would be desirable
• RG146 qualified would be desirable
• Additional relevant post -graduate qualifications would be advantageous
• Knowledge of superannuation industry and legislation
• Knowledge of share markets and securities
• Excellent organisation and ability to plan to meet deadlines
• A high standard of presentation
• Proactive client services skills
• Some travel will be necessary
