This medium sized holistic financial planning firm has their own license and has been in operation successfully providing ethical advice to clients for over 20 years.

Due to growth in their portfolio of clients a new position has become available for an additional Senior Paraplanner to join a progressive business, reporting directly to the business owner

Your key responsibilities will include:

•    Developing appropriate strategies and recommending suitable products inline with client requirements;

•    Preparation of SOA's including but not limit to Retirement Planning, SMSF's, Managed Funds, Risk, Estate Planning etc.

•    Attending client appointments with the Senior Financial Planners to assist with strengthening client relationships

•    Assisting with client reviews, responding to client enquiries regarding their investment portfolios

This business is no run-of-the-mill financial planning firm; they only have a small number of sophisticated clients on a fee for service model.  No legacy, C and D clients, just A's.and B's

There are 4 dedicated client services officers, so your role is not an administration role. If you are currently in a dual paraplanning or senior paraplanning role but feel you are not working with the complexity and breath of strategies you would like to, this is a great opportunity for you.

No client appointments take place in this business without a paraplanner participating, so you must be prepared to attend appointments with clients and develop relationships

 To be successful in this role you will need:

•    ADFP qualified as a minimum with CFP Highly desirable

•    Minimum 3 years Paraplanning experience;

•    Xplan software experience is essential;

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills;

•    Proven practical paraplanning skills and expertise;

•    A strong work ethic and team playing mentality;

You must also have an ability to effectively evaluate ideas and create strategies based on sound judgment.  To be eligible to apply for this position you must have an appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa.
