The hunt is on for a Senior Paraplanner, who can assist the Financial Planner in all functions and aspects associated with establishing, processing and maintaining business in the Financial Planning, Risk Insurance & Compliance.

Our client is one of the most prominent financial planning service providers in Victoria. Their financial planning practice offers services to individual investors, businesses, accountants and retirement plans.
Description
What you’d be doing - The Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Paraplanner you’ll be the backbone of company's Financial Planners creating advice documentation in the form of Statement of Advice (SOA). You will also:
- Liaise with other key stakeholders ensuring the meticulousness of documentation.
- Attend client plan presentation meetings.
- Prepare Record of Advice documents
- Perform financial modelling
- Record & enter client data and meeting notes into XPLAN
- Continually look to improve current processes
Profile
A little about you - ‘Key Skills’
As the successful applicant, you will be passionate about the financial services industry and have a knack for dealing with Clients and their expectations. You will also have:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a paraplanning role across holistic strategies.
- Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning as a minimum, ideally accompanied by a relevant degree.
- Strong technical understanding of a holistic range of products to provide support to other stakeholders.
- To be RG146 compliant
- Proven Attention to detail
- Proven experience in constructing comprehensive Statements of Advice (SoA)
- Experience using XPLAN with expertise in:
- Xtools+
- Risk Researcher
- WealthSolver
- Engage
