Join our Risk Management team in Sydney and play a pivotal role in our Work, Health & Safety strategy within Macquarie.
As a Work Health and Safety Manager, you will join a team that recognises the value of a safe workplace and the importance of Work Health and Safety (WHS) as an integral part of our business. As a committed member of the team you will assist with implementation of the WHS strategy and be involved with maintaining high WHS standards across the wide range of activities our business undertakes in diverse locations across the world.
Reporting directly to the Global Director – Work, Health and Safety, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert opinion to Business Groups on WHS associated risks for new businesses / projects that we consider to invest in. You will also provide oversight on the implementation of the our WHS policy in the business groups and develop and conduct bespoke Work, Health & Safety training for Risk Management and wider business group staff. You will also take responsibility for collecting and analysing WHS performance data for all our businesses / activities whilst supporting the development and execution of the Risk Management Group’s WHS strategy.
If you are a Work, Health & Safety professional and can bring with you an enthusiastic and passionate approach to WHS, we would love to hear from you. Ideally you will have a strong and experienced background in a similar position and be able to demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence when necessary.
