Our Client
Our client is a growing financial services provider offering open advice architecture and a commitment to delivering an excellent solution and advice experience.

With a network of offices across Australia and overseas, they offer attractive solutions to a market currently considering it's structure for the future. Their staff number have quadrupled over the last 4 years.  Authorised representative numbers are growing strongly which requires a greater resourcing structure for its advice compliance function.

The Role
They seek a Compliance and Training Manager to join a well-established and successful team.

The primary functions of the role consist of:
  • Support and supervision of financial adviser activities
  • Supervising, evaluating and managing compliance risks
  • Providing guidance, training and advice quality leadership to advisers and their staff
  • Effectively managing relationships with advisers, their staff, practice managers and stakeholders
Reporting to the HO group Risk and Compliance and working day to day with the head of advice, you are an important part of the licensee team.  You will use technology in office to communicate and manage.  Traveling the Eastern seaboard to engage, remediate and train is part of your role however the majority of the role is in office.

About You: 
To ensure your success in the role you will have the following:
  • Previous demonstrated experience in this role within the financial planning industry
  • Commercial engagement skills within advice distribution
  • A clear ability to influence change, manage sustainable quality compliance structure and culture with an eye on the future of advice
  • Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning as a minimum
  • Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of the AFSL and advice compliance/governance environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
  • Motivated to improve the quality of advice in a collaborative framework
  • Ability to work both in-office and remotely
