The Company 
  
A finance company is currently looking to expand the capacity of their credit team due to recent success. They offer a range of products for commercial and individual use and have recently brought on some large businesses as new clients. Looking to assess each application on it’s on merit you will be exposed to a more hands on and personalised approach to the credit process.
  
The Role

Working in the credit team you will be in charge of assessing credit applications with a DLA. Given the nature of the business you will need to look in the ‘grey area’ of policy to make sure you are servicing clients to the best of your ability.
  
Duties

• Prepare and analyse credit applications for consumer and commercial use
• Complete VEDA and ASIC checks
• Make suggestions and make credit submissions for clients
• Analyse financial statements and documents
• Manage the compliance and due diligence for each application
• Ad-hoc duties where necessary

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience assessing loans with a DLA
• Strong confidence in decision making
• Ability to explain concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Good time management
• Excellent ability to maintain relationships
