This position is responsible for reconciling multiple bank accounts and transactions for the Allianz Australia and New Zealand Group; this includes the investigation and resolving of discrepancies, with timely escalation to key stakeholders to execute resolutions.
Additional responsibilities include a daily deliverable which incorporates the allocation of receipts, reconciliation of the bank account and the execution of the receipts and payments files.
You will have a passion for building relationships and rapport with a large number of stakeholders throughout the operational business units, auditors and banks.
The key skills & experience desired for this position are as follows:-
- Previous experience working with bank reconciliations or related cash controls
- Ability to manage high volumes of transactions is essential
- Experience with Links and SAP is desirable, but not essential
- Strong communication skills (written / verbal) and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a changing environment with a strong focus on innovation
- Enthusiasm, energy and focus on delivering results
- Strong ability to build positive and constructive working relationships across divisions with key stakeholders
- Assistance with management of the group inbox
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience in Accounting / Financial Management
- Financial Services / Insurance background is an advantage
