We currently have a 12 month contract opportunity for a customer focused individual to join Qudos Bank as an Outbound & Retention Specialist. Reporting to the Assistant Manager Sales & Retention, this role will be responsible for assisting members with their personal loan and credit card applications via telephone.

This role will be ideal if you are looking to work in a fast paced and customer focused environment. The key to your success will be to achieve  'sales through service', by possessing sound understanding of financial products and having strong administration skills.

Key duties & responsibilities include:

  • Sales & Marketing campaigns
  • Assist members & non-members with the Personal Loan and Credit Card enquiries
  • Complete the application process within Service Standard timeframes provided
  • Record and manage sales pipeline activity and actively follow up future opportunities and referrals
  • Support the Contact Centre Lending team to achieve Lending Sales, Service and operational outcomes
  • Assist in the development, planning, monitoring and analysis of targeted outbound call campaigns to meet agreed targets
  • Assist with the development of effective channels for team and member feedback
  • Make outbound follow up calls for outstanding requirements for new business lending applications. Assist lending specialists to clear pipeline cases by making follow up calls to members
  • Provide sales through service leadership in line with KPI expectations
  • Actively cross sell Qudos Bank products and services and lead by example
  • Undertake retention activities to members across the portfolio of products
  • Accurately record all member contact in CRM systems
  • Effectively communicate emerging and important issues to the appropriate people within the organisation. Support other service channels ie; email, chat and mail to develop marketing initiatives
  • Monitor analyse and report on key business metrics for the team

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Minimum 6 months previous experience working in a financial services contact centre or branch
  • Demonstrated sales skills across relevant products/services
  • Proficient in constructing business appropriate emails

The successful candidate will also have the ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders based on sound knowledge, superb written and oral communication skills and a customer centric attitude.
