We are working with a global bank on a broad compliance position in the advisory team to support the business, internal stakeholders and take ownership of central compliance duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide compliance advisory support to the business and internal stakeholders as well as rolling out the compliance plan
- Responsible for the end to end requirement for the AFSL and ACL held within Australia including co-ordinating the RM training, RM appointment and cessation, organisational competency requirement.
- Licencing obligation and breach investigation including reporting and stakeholders’ engagement
- Reporting and follow up on remedial actions
- Complying with global requirements inc Treating customers fairly obligations.
Experience/skills required
- Min 5 years proven experience gained in Compliance within Retail Banking/Lending/Financing is essential
- Hands on approach, pragmatic and able to work commercially with the business.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills
