Due to a large increase in market share and a growing global reputation, our client - a leading international consulting business - is looking to attract an experienced Head of Compliance into their business.
Coming from a legal and compliance background the successful candidate will be responsible for risk and operational compliance for the business across Australia and New Zealand. You will work across all parts of the business to help develop a robust compliance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement Compliance framework across the business
- Undertake independent compliance reviews
- Maintain risk management processes and oversee the resolution of risk
- Provision of expert analysis and advice to inform decision-making as required by the business
- Work with internal client teams to uncover potential risks
- Perform compliance testing and develop improvement plans against identified gaps in agreement with business functions
- Advise the business on operational compliance issues and compliance management
Position requirements:
- 8+ years experience in Senior Compliance roles
- Strong working knowledge of Corporations Law and regulatory requirements
- Experience within the financial services sector
- Experience in operational risk management
- Qualifications in Law or Compliance will be highly regarded
- Australian Permanent Resident
