About the Position
dmca currently has an opportunity for a dedicated professional to join their specialist Financial Planning team.
This position will be responsible for:
- Organising appointments and associated client documentation
- Assisting in the collection of information for strategic advice
- Liaising with Clients, Fund Managers and Life Offices to assist with completion of application forms and track the progress of applications
- Field client queries covering a broad range of financial planning areas including superannuation and retirement planning
- Product research for superannuation, investments and risk insurance
- Producing risk quotes/applications - including online lodgement
- Assist Advisers with compliance management including but not limited to Fee Disclosure Statements (FDS) and Ongoing Review Services
- Preparation of Record of Advice documents
- Invoicing, database management, preparation of client letters, processing of applications, scanning of documents.
- Ad hoc backup administrative support for the Accounting division, as required
‘What you look like’ and need to demonstrate to be successful.
- Minimum of 18 months prior experience in a CSO position and interested (or have some exposure to para-planning).
- Exceptional communication skills, and a high level of client service.
- An undergraduate commerce / finance and/or law degree, and career aspiration to forge a long-term career in financial planning.
- Completion of RG146 (DFP minimum) would be highly regarded; and
- Exposure to X-plan Financial Planning software is an advantage.
