The Lending Administration Officer is responsible for all matters relating to the documentation and funding of all loans. It involves consultation with key service providers such as solicitors as well as other team members. You will need to be able to apply sound lending knowledge and judgement. The role goes beyond just loan documentation to process improvement, quality control and monitoring of conditions precedent and subsequent to approval.

Task will include but are not limited to:

• Loan Processing - ensuring all documnts are complete and accurate in a timely manner
• Loan Administration - all post-settlment tasks: correct loan loading, maintaining the security register, updating and providing all necessary reports.
• Operations and Efficiency -  Initiate and implement process enhancements. Develop own capability and sharing knowledge so as to cross train other team members
• Compliance - Ensure all compliance obligations are met

Minimum of 5 years relevant and current experience at a financial institution in a similar position.
Experience in consumer loan document preparation is essential.
Experience in lending beyond document preparation will be highly regarded. This will be demonstrated by knowledge and understanding of lending processes and procedures.
