Our client is a globally recognised financial institution with a leading presence across business, corporate and institutional banking.  As a major product provider to these divisions, their Markets business has enjoyed an enviable period of growth and success, aided by a strong balance sheet and an increased appetite to originate structured deals across their flagship Business Banking division.

This is an excellent opportunity within the Markets Sales Team.  It acts as the principal face of Markets to both internal and external clients within the Business & Private Banking franchise in Victoria and drives market sales activity, pricing and service delivery to this SME & HNW client base.   While the asset class offering is broad, the focus products are Equity and Fixed Income.  You will work closely and in conjunction with relationship management teams and actively manage a portfolio of new and ongoing business customers, identifying new opportunities where appropriate and advising clients of the use of financial markets products to enhance their portfolio.  A critical requirement of this role is the capacity to hold “knowledge based” discussions, providing value added solutions as appropriate and be perceived as a helpful advisor to your client set.

This is a very rare and outstanding opportunity for an experienced and high performing professional to join a successful and profitable business.  Ideally you will have experience working with a suite of complex Financial Markets products, with proven ability to successfully build relationships and drive sales activity.   You will hold a relevant degree and ideally will be AFMA accredited.  Your interpersonal and communication skills are of the highest order and you are seeking to advance your career in a high calibre corporate environment.
