About the role
Reporting to the GM Distribution, the role has responsibility for :
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
- Increasing our client base
- Having an in-depth knowledge of our product, technical application and value proposition
- Writing business proposals
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
- Researching business opportunities
- Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
- Ensure clean and accurate record keeping on CRM
- Lead the sales process of campaigns and/or sales initiatives
- Provide senior management on areas of business improvements or customer feedback
- Attend conferences and events on behalf of Generation Life

Skills and experience
- Qualifications in commerce/finance - diploma or degree
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in financial services (essential)
- Pre-existing relationship with Financial Advisers in Sydney CBD and surrounding areas (essential)
- High level of professional conduct
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Self-directed, motivated, proactive with strong initiative
- Experience working to and exceeding targets
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
