We are a small, well established Financial Planning business centrally located 10 minutes south of the CBD.  Our services include offering all aspects of strategic financial planning and wealth management to a diverse range of clients.  We have an extremely strong focus on putting the clients' interests first and a dedicated team who take pride in their work.

We know how to retain good staff with the majority of current employees having been with the business for between 8 and 12 years.  An opportunity has arisen for an experienced client service officer to join our close knit team. 

The role is for an initial full-time fixed term period of 12 months, with a possibility for permanency in the future.

As part of this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting our clients
  • Managing client reviews, including booking meeting appointments, preparation of review documents and implementation of chosen strategies
  • First point of contact for all client enquiries (phone & email)
  • Maintaining client files and database records (Xplan)
  • Preparation of Risk Insurance quotes and follow up of unpaid premiums
  • Preparation and implementation of Records of Advice

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and providing support across the business.

You will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience within a customer service/administration role
  • A vibrant personality
  • Excellent communication skills including a professional phone manner
  • A willingness to learn
  • Extremely strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet Explorer
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties
  • The ability to work closely with a small team in a harmonious manner
  • Have a desire to support a range of clients and be part of a culture which is focused on delivering quality outcomes.

While previous experience in a similar role within the financial planning industry would be an advantage, it is your positive, client focused attitude which will secure you the position.
