Role Snapshot
Based in Sydney, the Wagering Risk Change Manager is an exciting new role that will form a key part of the Wagering Risk Team in managing a range of risks and obligations within the Wagering & Media division. This role will be influential in supporting the successful delivery of the Wagering & Media strategy across our channels, including Retail and On-course.
How you will contribute
This role will see you being involved in, but not limited to;
- Developing and executing innovative and effective change strategies and plans to support our compliance framework and mitigate risk in Wagering & Media projects and BAU change initiatives.
- Prioritising, monitoring and reporting on the delivery of all risk and compliance projects and initiatives that impact retail, oncourse and our customer service centre.
- Leading and partnering with key stakeholders to identify and deliver incremental and/or step-change improvements to retail and on-course risk controls and compliance areas.
- Leading and coordinating key stakeholders to ensure risk governance is effectively implemented across the Wagering & Media business through appropriate governance committees.
Our Ideal Person
- Knowledge and/or experience in managing risks and monitoring compliance associated with the delivery and provision of wagering products and services, including retail and on-course; or demonstrated ability in managing risks and monitoring compliance in a complex retail environment.
- Practical experience in producing effective reporting, including business cases, insight reports, risk assessments, Senior Management and Board papers, presentations, and technical and commercial content.
- Demonstrated ability in coordinating and monitoring compliance and risk governance across a large, complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of Change and Project Management discipline, principles and practice.
- Proven experience in leading large and complex business risk and/or compliance programs or projects.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships within internal and external stakeholders through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
