This long established and very professional financial planning practice has an excellent client base. The firm is headed by a very experienced Certified Financial Planner/Accountant who enjoys exceptional relationships with her clients. You can play an integral role in the firm’s future success by supporting the Financial Planner with effective administration and back-up.

The Role

In this important position, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Monthly compliance tasks – Fee Disclosure Statements, Opt – In documents, monitoring and delivery of service to On-Going Service Clients;
  • The management and preparation of client review packs ( utilising your good skills in XPlan);
  • Contacting insurance companies and super funds to update current positions for review;
  • Preparation of meeting agendas for the Planner and her clients;
  • Checking data feeds with XPlan;
  • Implementation of roll-overs and insurance policies and the preparation of buy/sell paperwork;
  • Preparation of new client packs, and SOA/ROA packs; and
  • Meeting room preparation  and general office maintenance

The Person

You have:

  • Very good I.T skills, and knowledge of XPlan;
  • A strong work ethic and proactive attitude;
  • Some work experience in a financial planning  office, preferably in super or insurance;
  • Excellent attention to detail, and very good computer skills;
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills;
  • A mature and  professional approach and good team membership skills; and
  • Have completed RG 146 (desirably)

This role offers a high degree of flexibility, and can be either 3 or 4 days according to your responsibilities outside of work.  Flexibility with daily starting time is available.
