MARS Recruitment is partnered with a large financial services organisation who are seeking an experienced fund accounting/unit pricing team leader to join a high performing and thriving department.
The role of the fund accounting/unit pricing team leader is varied, your responsibilities will range from daily oversight of a team of senior fund accountants whilst also reviewing the accuracy of all work completed by the outsourced provider. This particular team is highly client focused as well as technically strong across Unit Pricing, Fund Accounting, Reporting and Tax administration.
Duties:
- Successfully mentor & up skill team members
- Daily oversight of all team members work
- Perform BAU Unit Pricing duties where necessary
- Manage relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Complete accurate & timely client reports in line with legislative requirements
- Ensure you & your team adheres to organisational operational risk & compliance policies
- Address complex issues, ad hoc projects & process improvements
Essential criteria:
- 5-7 years financial services experience
- Proven track record in a leadership/oversight capacity
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong working knowledge of Unit Pricing, Fund Accounting, Reporting, Distributions & Tax Administration
- Strong stakeholder management skills
