Our Client
Our client is a key player and part of a global organisation specialising in on-line training across FX and Commodities. With 80 staff in the Melbourne Office they are looking to appoint a new Head Of Compliance to manage the AML/CTF program of work for the group.

The Role
Reporting to their Australian Managing Director, you will oversee one direct report and provide legal and compliance advice to the group. You will be cognoscente of regulation changes and will actively advise the Board of Directors around Financial Service related topics.
In addition, you will partner closely with the external legal counsel, handling the dispute resolution process whilst playing the key contact for ASIC and other regulators.
The Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate 5+ years relevant experience at an ASIC-regulated entity, bank or financial institution, an Australian regulator, law firm or regulatory consultant. You will present with a thorough understanding of ASIC and AUSTRAC requirements for OTC derivative providers. You will have a strong academic background with qualifications in accounting, audit, law, risk management, or business. A genuine global opportunity awaits the successful candidate.
