We are currently looking for a Broker Development Manager to join our Third Party Distribution Team at our Melbourne Office.
  
About the role
In this role you will be responsible for driving new business growth via the Mortgage Broker channel with the key responsibility of managing and developing strong Broker relationships.
This role will work closely with the National Manager – Third Party Distribution to assist with the expansion of Teachers Mutual Bank Limited (TMBL) entry into Australia’s competitive home loan market with a specific focus on targeting new and existing members within the education sector.
Key duties will include:
  • Acting as a key contact within the network of accredited Mortgage Brokers in an effort to increase business flows and associated revenue streams
  • Ensuring all risk, compliance and audit requirements are met, including broker training and accreditation
  • Generating and driving cross-sell opportunities to other relevant businesses as they arise
  • Continuously analysing and reviewing account activity and sales plans to identify performance issues as well as opportunities to market share
  • Facilitating presentations at aggregator professional days and attending selected conferences to deliver awareness of the TMBL brand, position in the market and suite of lending solutions
About you
  
We’d like you to have:
  • Extensive experience in retail banking and a solid understanding of credit/mortgage lending products, processes and associated services
  • Experience within the Third Party or Business-to-Business market as well as with providing advice to external partners on how to structure complex and non-complex mortgage transactions
  • Successful track record in a Business Development or Sales role within the Mortgage Broking industry would be highly regarded
  • FSR Tier 2 accreditation
  • Unrestricted drivers licence
