The company has a strong growth strategy in place and this product has been developed as a part of that strategy. You will be part of a small team as Business Development Manager with full responsibility for driving this technology into the market through on site demos pitching to financial advisers.

The product you are working with is diverse and highly appealing to the financial planning market. There is a captive audience and appointments are ready for you to attend. There is no requirement for cold calling or lead chasing. You can leverage the strength of the brand in engaging with clients.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Pitch the product, generate interest, follow up and close the sale;
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the product by passing on feedback received from clients;
  • Develop thorough and deep technical knowledge regarding the product.

You will have the backing of best in class systems, strategic partners and technical support to ensure that the opportunities you create are realised. Your Manager is an extremely passionate and dynamic individual who is heavily invested in the product and will support you in achieving success.

We are looking for individuals who have the drive and energy to engage with clients, who will be confident presenting, who are professional and understand what is required to promote the benefits of a product. You will need to be an effective communicator and have the ability to think on your feet.

This role would make a great transition position for a Business Development Consultant looking for that next step to a Business Development Manager role, with full autonomy out in the field to meet clients and drive business.

Make no mistake, you will be meeting clients at their offices, sometimes interstate. You will be expected handle situations as they arise and close the deals on this product.
