Client Details

A leading FMCG global organisation is seeking an experienced compliance manger to join their experienced and established legal team. The role will be reporting into the Senior Company Counsel and will involve implementing all applicable policies to all levels of the business, training the business on these policies as well as advising on compliance matters.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the company and its related bodies corporate are aware of, and comply with relevant policies and procedures, including but not limited to anti-bribery and corruption procedures; supplier code of conduct; whistleblowing procedures and competition related policies
• Identifying and working with senior management, to minimise unacceptable compliance risks to the business
• Developing and implementing controls and procedures which can be improve the company’s ability to achieve compliance
• Developing, improving and conducting training on compliance matters across the business
• Assisting in compliance related investigations
• Co-ordinating compliance activities across the Australasian area to ensure compliance with other markets.

Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Ideally a minimum of 8+ years experience as a compliance professional in a highly regulated industry
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
  • Experience in contract management, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (US), Modern Slavery requirements and/or the Anti-Bribery Act (UK) is preferable but not essential.
  • Superior relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all functions of the business
  • Strong decision making skills whilst operating with a sense of urgency, sound judgement and
