We are looking for a customer service focused individual to support and assist our Financial Planning team as a Client Service Administration Assistant.

Details of the role:

Hours - Monday-Friday -  8.30am - 4.30pm in our Gold Coast Office - 84 Brisbane Road, Labrador

Who we are looking for:

  • It is essential to have over 12 months previous administration experience in the financial services industry, most preferably Financial Planning. 
  • You must have the ability to multi-task and work efficiently with accuracy and dedication.  
  • You must have excellent communication skills and enjoy contacting clients via phone. We need an enthusiastic person, somebody that makes you smile when you hear them speak on the phone and likes to work hard but has a light hearted fun personality to fit into our team.
  • You must have excellent attention to detail and show initiative at all times to help our team work successfully and as efficiently as possible.
  • Excellent computer Skills and knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook is a must. 
  • You must have a positive attitude with the willingness to learn and exceed expectations to enable yourself to learn and grow.  You must be open to change, new procedures and new ideas as we are an ever evolving business.
  • The most important thing is that you are a team player, reliable and have a great work ethic and would enjoy working in a small but very busy and successful team.
  • Xplan experience would be very beneficial.

This general role duties would include:

Assisting clients with everyday enquiries, changes and updates.

Contacting clients with regards to client annual reviews, dishonours of insurance premiums, customer service surveys and collating required documentation to assist the team with our risk review process.

Contacting Insurance and Superannuation Companies when required to assist with New Business, Underwriting, pre-assesment, quoting and rollover of Superannuation funds.

Assisting with our Quarterly Client Newsletters, Social media updates, Birthday SMS system and making and confirming Client Appointments.

Further everyday administration duties will be required such as answering phones, filing, database entry and preparing client documentation in addition to general written and email correspondence.
