I am currently looking for a Senior Operational Risk and Controls manager for a great new role with a leading bank.
This is an exciting new role joining a growing team in build mode, where you will work as part of a central team providing risk management advice and co-ordinating risk management activities and ensuring effective governance oversight and management of operational risks across institutional banking and markets.
You will be responsible for:
- Risk & controls, policy, regulatory, remediation
- Risk reviews, gap identification
- Oversight and recommendations
- Preparation of reports and papers for senior management and risk committees
- Governance and best practice
- Central liaison for other risk teams
- Drive better use of data analytics
You will require a very strong operational risk background, ideally within banking, with strong exposure to risk governance frameworks and preparation of reporting to senior management. You will also require very strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills and strong commercial awareness and acumen.
