Gidgee Healing is currently seeking a Compliance and Contracts Manager to join our Corporate office in Mount Isa.
About Us:
Gidgee Healing is a dynamic Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service that provides a comprehensive and growing range of primary health care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people residing in the Mt Isa, North West and Lower Gulf of Carpentaria regions. We provide General Practice, maternal and child health, social and preventative health, health promotion and education, allied health and specialist services. Gidgee Healing is also the lead agency for headspace Mount Isa and the Normanton Recovery and Community Wellbeing Service. Our organisation strives to enhance the accessibility and uptake of health services in our communities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and advice on funding contractual compliance;
- Work in a business partnering capacity with the Senior Leadership Team on areas associated with contractual compliance;
- Manage residential and commercial properties for the organisation;
- Fleet management.
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in law, accounting, commerce or finance or five (5) years' experience within a similar role;
- Experience working within a not-for-profit organisation (desirable);
- Ability to effectively and co-operatively engage with the senior management and leadership team;
- Experience in working closely with a leadership team;
- Understanding of government reporting requirements;
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms;
- Well developed communication skills.
