The Digital Developer role will be responsible for the technical activities associated with delivering Digital solutions. This will include estimation, software development, design, testing and support. Become part of an established Sitecore development team working and following Agile practises.

Your key responsibilities
You will have the following key responsibilities within the role of Digital Developer:
- develop digital solutions for mobile and web applications
- work as part of an Agile software development team
- contribute to the technology architecture and design for Digital solutions
- actively participate in Agile delivery processes, including planning and estimation
- review and contribute to technical standards for Digital solutions including software coding standards and testing practices
- develop solutions to align with Digital technology roadmaps
- maintain automated test frameworks
- identify emerging trends and innovations that can be adopted to benefit members and employers
- collaborate with the security team to ensure that Digital services delivered meet the highest technology security standards
- provide third-level support for Digital services and maintain an ongoing knowledge base to assist with efficient issue resolution
- perform code reviews of software developed either internally or through partner organisations
- identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- perform other duties as directed
About you
As a successful candidate, you will have the following qualities:
- 2+ years experience working in similar technical roles for Digital solutions
- extensive experience working in Agile environments
- sound back-end development skills: ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Web Services
- sound experience in front-end development skills: HTML 5, CSS 3, JQuery, Angular JS, Backbone.js, Bootstrap
- sound experience developing with the Sitecore platform (Sitecore Certification Preferred)
- demonstrated understanding and experience with integration technologies including REST APIs, SOAP and MQ
- demonstrated experience in test automation including Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development
- sound experience with the Atlassian suite of products (JIRA and Confluence)
