WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE DOING
Reporting the Group Executive of Corporate Development, as Manager of Corporate Development you will be a key member of the PEXA Strategy Team which is tasked with identifying and evaluating growth opportunities and threats to PEXA, while also managing the company's annual business planning process.
You will also work collaboratively with the PEXA Corporate Development and Strategy teams to deliver:
• Proactive scanning of the market to monitor and identify new trends and engage with external parties and potential partners;
• Identification and assessment of new business growth opportunities, which may include organic growth through new product developments and markets, and new businesses through merger and acquisitions;
• Proactively investigate and analyse the PEXA business and potential issues that may affect the business as they emerge;
• Data gathering, analysis, strategic thinking and documentation as required by the business;
• Provide thought leadership with regards to work planning, analytical methodologies and frameworks;
• Maintain PEXA knowledge base of existing and emerging companies and technologies relevant to PEXA’s eco-system; and
• Any other task compatible to skills and experience as directed by the CEO or GE - Corporate Development to meet strategic organisational objectives.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• M&A experience is key for this role and ideally 2+ years of experience in a leading management consulting firm or investment bank
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking capability
• Outcome driven with the ability to get across the detail
• Proven relationship management and collaboration skills
• Known for high degree of integrity and trust
• Confident to challenge and question
• Solid understanding of Project Management and Change Management methodologies with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
