About the opportunity?

We have a critical new role available for an Investigations Manager to independently investigate suspected, alleged or confirmed misconduct by Aussie’s Brokers, Customers and 3rd Parties. In this exciting 2nd line of defence role, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business and will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to investigations and compliance, both within the team and across Aussie’s business. 

Reporting to our Senior Compliance Manager, you will:

  • conduct investigations into potential broker misconduct or fraud matters, including examinations of documents, data, electronic evidence and collaborating results via interviews, making appropriate recommendations
  • prepare and present reports for the Board, the Executive Risk Committee, the Broker Governance Panel, and management in relation to investigations conducted
  • prepare reports for 3rd parties, as required (e.g. Regulators, Police, Panel Lenders) in relation to investigations conducted
  • network with peers across the industry
  • enhance and develop Aussie’s Standard Operating Procedure for Investigations.
About you

  • strong knowledge of relevant Australian consumer credit-related regulations and responsible lending obligations (NCCP) or Financial Services knowledge
  • experience in conducting investigations, preferably related to financial services operations, and reporting on such investigations
  • strong people management and interpersonal skills
  • strong analytical, evaluation and problem solving skills.
