You’ll use your solid operational risk experience to interact with a wide range of business partners and play an important role in assisting the business in identifying operational risks. You will assess the adequacy of controls to manage such risks and contribute to the continual improvement of processes within our Investment Management division. Your commercial approach and ability to build relationships at all levels will allow you to increase staff awareness of operational risks and controls while also assisting them with adhering to our operational risk management framework and associated policies.
This varied role will see you work with senior stakeholders and be involved in new initiatives and new products. You will oversee and conduct targeted operational risk reviews, as well as perform control assurance across all critical controls. You will also identify and address the risks involved with new products and business activities and provide advice to senior management and project committees on product, process or control changes.
We would expect you to have solid experience in operational risk, audit or a control focused background within the banking and financial services industry. You will also be able to demonstrate a proven track-record of taking a pragmatic, commercial approach to operational risk whilst achieving desired outcomes, building relationships across all levels of a business and you will have the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.
