We are currently seeking a Business Banking Support person to join our Adelaide based Business Banking Team. The team is focussed in growing our business banking portfolio in both the SME and Community sectors.

We are seeking a team member to actively support the Business Banking Manager to deliver business banking solutions for customers and to assist with business development initiatives.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing sales, lending and administrative support to the Business Banking Manager
  • Working closely with the Business Banking Manager to assist with the preparation of lending submissions and reviews
  • Providing support to colleagues and the branch network in relation to business lending enquiries
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships that demonstrate understanding of the customer’s business, their business banking needs and customer first service ethos
  • Working in collaboration with the Business Banking Manager to maximise new business opportunities
  • Ensuring appropriate reporting is maintained on the business lending portfolio

To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Strong member service and sales skills
  • Some lending experience and knowledge of Symtrix systems is desirable
  • Strong time management, planning and organisational abilities
  • Commitment to our customer-first ethos
  • The ability to apply policy, procedure or legislation to practical situations and an interest in continual process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
  • Some experience with financials and self employed members or the capacity to quickly develop your skills in this area will be viewed favourably
