Exclusive to Jenner Recruitment, our client is looking for remotely located Paraplanner to work within a well sought after business in Mackay.

Our client is a specialist wealth management firm who provide their clients with objective advice and  are currently seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their successful team.

The Role

Working within an existing structure and reporting to the Partner, this role provides scope for the right candidate to grow their current skillset.

Supporting the Financial Planning team, you will ideally be working in an existing Paraplanning role within the Financial Planning industry.   The position is remotely located providing you with the opportunity to work from home full-time.

Ideally you will be a Intermediate to Senior Paraplanner used to working with complex strategies.   

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following abilities and skillsets:

• Work closely with Advisers and Senior Advisers to drive the plan development, delivery, implementation and ongoing review processes.
• Utilise your existing Paraplanning skill set to ensure technical excellence is brought to the role.
• Use clear thinking skills and outstanding writing abilities to craft tailored Statements of Advice (SoA) which communicate complex strategy concepts in plain language.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and ensure queries are addressed, expectations are managed and financial planning strategies are seamlessly implemented.
• Oversee outgoing materials and ensure advice documents are technically and legislatively sound, meet internal standards and adhere to compliance regulations.
• Achieve KPIs and targets applicable to the role (incl. Revenue, Productivity/Delivery Standards, New Business/Referral targets) whilst being able to work autonomously.

About You

This opportunity will most appeal to a motivated individual with a polished and professional presentation.  To be successful in this role you will require:

• At least 1-4 years experience working within the Financial Planning industry as a Paraplanner
• ADFP qualification is preferred but not essential
• Tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential
• Xplan skills would be advantageous
• Excellent analytical, organisational, time management and prioritising skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work on your own and have the self-motivation and discipline to remain on task and meet deadlines.
