The Latitude Risk Team is respected for their critical role in the support and implementation of innovative business projects. The function provides information, statistical analysis and recommendations to support, develop and implement risk based strategies and business activities with a focus on profitable business growth.
What you will do
You will take on key risk disciplines which can include collection strategy optimisation and policy setting. One of the challenges you will face daily will be managing the trade-off between revenue, loss, and customer experience within a regulated environment.
Stakeholder engagement and management will be a major aspect of your role as you influence and provide recommendations to drive tangible outcomes.
You will use risk analytics and be a part of innovative projects to implement state of the art risk systems and infrastructure. You will help to grow the business profitably, whilst keeping the company safe and driving great customer outcomes.
Who you are
To be successful in this role you will have tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline - this can include, but is not limited to Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Scientific methodology & analysis, Finance or Engineering.
It is essential that you have at least 3 years experience working in consumer credit risk, within a relevant industry - banking and finance, utilities or telecommunications to name a few. It is essential that you have data mining & analysis skills using SAS or SQL.
You are comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, with excellent verbal and written communication skills that compliment your ability to present and influence your customers.
