With the Asset Finance Division of our business rapidly growing we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Officer to join the Melbourne, Asset Finance team.

This is a newly created, full-time permanent position that was created to support the growing division. Reporting to the National Manager – Asset Finance, the Operations Support Officer’s role is assist in the credit approval process, analysing transactions and tracking of outstanding deals whilst simultaneously striving to give best possible service to clients, introducers and other Scottish Pacific stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service both internally and externally
  • Ensure correct processing of all invoices, documents, and quotes
  • Ensure accurate data entry of customer payments on a daily basis
  • Prepare & process loan applications & issue loan documentation to the customer
  • Monthly reporting of loan offers sent, loans accepted, loans settled & arrears
  • General loan administration tasks such as data entry, payout quotes and PPSR administration
  • Providing accurate product and facility information to stakeholders

 About you

  • Demonstrated organisational and clerical skills
  • Sound knowledge of office procedures and general computer skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

The ideal candidate will have proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, have a positive 'can do' attitude as well as the initiative to jump in and help the team without being asked. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous though not essential.
